Explore your own strengths and tap into external networks to unlock new customers, partners and opportunities.
I have worked across Southern Africa — South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini and Zimbabwe — and been involved in taking business into East Africa: Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda, plus West Africa’s giant, Nigeria. Not as an observer, but in the work of entering those markets: the conversations, the partners, the pricing and the realities that decide whether a product actually sells.
Africa is not one market. Each country has its own regulation, payment habits, logistics, buying culture and pace of trust. That nuance is where expansions succeed or quietly stall, and it is exactly what I help a business read before it commits.
My home base and closest network: South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini (Swaziland) and Zimbabwe, where regional trade, cross-border customers and shared business culture shape the opportunity.
Hands-on market entry in the region: sizing the opportunity, finding the right partners, and adjusting offer, pricing and channel to how business is actually done there.
Experience in Africa’s largest consumer market, where scale is real but so are the demands of distribution, pricing pressure and payment realities.
A dynamic professional with outstanding marketing and business development abilities — continuously exploring opportunities to grow and develop businesses of any size, in any environment, from food to technology.
As COO of HOSTAFRICA and an MBA graduate of Stellenbosch University, I understand the entrepreneur’s need: simple, cost-efficient paths to launch, operate and grow.
